Haregewoin means grape vine. She was born on a lush garden world with numerous orchards and vineyards. Her family had been one of farmers, taking to the crops. When she was born, they had trouble deciding on a name. Some obvious choices and some for her to grow into. They waited weeks for a name to feel right. Then it came to them. The small purple cub had gotten into the barrel of grapes and was lapping them up with her long tongue. To commemorate the moment and also slightly acknowledge her hue, they gave her the only name that made sense.
