Kesi means born at time of great trouble for father. While Kibwe wasn't troubled during the birth or even during the pregnancy, his troubles had led him to her mother Sultra and from this Kesi and her sister Avelin were born. He had been worried he would be alone for the rest of his life and decided to do some soul searching, find out who he was. He chose the name to remind him that his troubles were hollow. Despite feeling troubled, he had gotten a family out of it in the end. It was also a way of telling her where she came from and how she came to be.
