I'timad

I'timad means reliance in Arabic. Just like Nadiyya this name was given to him while he was a mortal. It was still unknown if this was inspiration for him to aspire to or was some unforeseen fate for him to represent an Almalak. As a cub, he was always on time to events. Many others were dependent on him for one thing or another. He was fairly neutral when it came to interactions. He was very blunt and honest. Always punctual. Again, it was probably traits that drew the gods in to ask him to be one of the angels. 'iilah alkhalq and 'iilhat aldamar came to call him "The Candid Angel" and he was the second to join the ranks, just after Nadiyya. He too acted as a mediator between the mortal lions on the plane and the deities up in their castle. In particular, he was usually called on when needing a truly neutral stance. Nadiyya tended to be a bit, well, delicate and made her soft. Not a bad thing, just sometimes they needed a more firm presence.
