Shaima means beauty marks in Arabic. Rather than choosing a name the way he had picked her half brother's, Sayyid instead leaned toward something that was more literal. Of course her markings aren't actual beauty marks and are instead spots no doubt recieved from her father but he picked the name regardless. It could be a bit of narcissism on his behalf claiming the spots she obtained from him are ineed "beauty marks" on her fur. Or perhaps there was even some part of him that chose the name for symbolism. It's said that beauty marks on the legs symbolize one who feels actions have greater impact than words. If this is to be the case, she definitely fits her namesake. Who needed words when you could just act? Whether it is symbolisim or literal, she likes the sound of her name and that's all that really matters to her.
