A Geminite would be the last type of gem one would expect patrolling the hallways of a pirate ship, let alone one by itself! Geminites are always in pairs, without their other half a Geminite is bound to eventually lose their minds and break themselves out of loneliness. But not this Geminite! She'd lost her twin but after developing a close bond with a special Carnelian and learning how to become independent by her Alexandrite, she stands strong as a single Geminite. Sure she leans heavily on her two favorite companions, but she knows for sure she'll never be alone again, especially with an entire crew of space vagabonds along for the ride.

Geminite appears to be out of the "pirate" norm. She's a calm, gentle, total sweetheart, and always seeming to be in a pleasant mood. She loves her crewmates and her captain very dearly and she is fiercely protective of them. Geminite may have been created to be a pretty doll and just obey orders but after everything she'd been through, with the training and encouragement her team has given her, she's become much stronger emotionally as well as physically. Though she may seem independent, Geminite is extremely dependent on her captain and the Umbran crew, especially Carnelian, and would be absolutely devastated if something happens to any of them.

Geminite takes great care in everything she does, from performing basic tasks around the ship, to following specific orders given to her by Alexandrite. Though no longer a meager "servant" Geminite is still happy to obey and do her job as she is rewarded well enough for it to be fulfilling for her. In her downtime Geminite spends the majority of her free time with either Carnelian or Alexandrite but she always has time for the rest of the pirates as well.

Carnelian and Geminite were created on the same planet but two different kindergartens for two entirely different purposes. Carnelian was made in the Amnicus Sigma kindergarten along with others of his gemtype and were divided based on their reform rate. Some went off to be soldiers as they were intended but Amnicus wasn't exactly rich in minerals for big buff warrior gems so most of them became pilots or gunman. Geminite and her twin sister were created in the Amnicus Chi Garden to be support for high ranked gems. Much like a glorified and rarer Pearl, they were designed to give advice and perform various important tasks for their superiors at their whim. Always paired together they were meant to be a set.

After creation, the Geminite twins were assigned to a Blue Agate who also claimed the soldiers from Amnicus Sigma. The Agate was in charge of one of Homeworld's largest military outposts. Blue Agate oversaw all sorts of plans and worked with the Diamonds themselves in making Homeworld more safe and secure along with providing them with enough soldiers to take over as many planets as they damn well pleased. Blue Agate was one of the top dogs and she loved every moment of it, which was why she earned herself her pretty pair of Geminites.

However she was not a very kind mistress to those under her command. Every time something wrong happened Blue Agate blamed the Geminites. Every time the Geminites offered help in things the Agate didn't want help with, she got upset with them. Every time the Geminites didn't offer help in things the Agate wanted help with, she got upset with them. No matter what they did was wrong and there was no pleasing the Agate. The Geminites didn't enjoy working for her in the slightest and would often escape the building to find company with other gems who didn't treat them like slaves.

Other gems who included, you guessed it, Carnelian. Him and his fellow soldiers that were long term stationed at the outpost, would enjoy the company of the two beautiful green gems. Even though they knew it was against the rules they did it anyway because despite having each other they were very lonely. The two of them were very crafty and careful for a long time.... But one day Blue Agate found out and she was not happy about it.

To punish the Geminites of their "lack of respect", the Agate used her whip on them as if they were her soldiers but the twins were not strong enough to sustain the blows like a Quartz could. Accidentally striking Gemi's twin's gemstone, she was shattered immediately. Carnelian saw the whole thing happen and rushed to protect Gemi. While his brother Lian tried to attack Blue Agate for killing Nite. He was immediately taken away. Though shattering her beloved Geminite wasn't Blue Agate's intention at all, she showed no outward signs of remorse at the time and threatened the others before she left to return to her duties, further making the soldiers believe it had been intentional.

After she left, Carnelian aided Geminite, promising to never leave the green gem's side even though the both of them knew Blue Agate wouldn't allow it. So, with the help of Arnie and his fellow soldier buddies, they went into hiding. It wasn't long after that, maybe a few days, when the outpost was attacked by a lone rogue. The rouge was the infamous Benitoite who had been a pain in Homeworld's side for a few thousand years. Never had Homeworld thought Benitoite would make his way to infiltrating a MILITARY outpost but the tricky little gem was full of surprises. He'd stolen one of the power sources and was causing excessive damage left and right. The blue gem was fast, too, no one could tell where he'd strike next... And then he came across Carnelian and Geminite.

Recognizing him as a way out of Homeworld, they begged him to help them escape... And he did. Having got what he came for and was just fucking with Homeworld at that point, he agreed to take the two gems out of Homeworld's hands and 'rescued' them. With Beni's help, they stole a ship from the main hanger and Carnelian flew them far, far away from Homeworld. Benitoite had stuck with them for a while, helping them out with how to manage themselves on their own. Eventually Beni pushed the two of them to go off on their own because he didn't want to be tied down anymore. They were sad to see him go but they agreed to remain friends if they ever came across each other. They split ways and moved on.

It was a while after that when the pair came across a group of gems who called themselves the Umbran Pirates, lead by an Alexandrite. Alex's original intention was to steal from the pair but instead offered them a place among their ranks. Being the social gems they were, the pair agreed. They've been loyally serving Alexandrite ever since!
