August showed up to Dream SMP one day to start a new life. No one knows exactly what happened to them in the months before, but hearing of a new nation rising, they throw themselves into the revolutionary effort. From there, their life changes forever. They gain a home.. and they lose a home. But can you lose something if you refuse to let go?
Strange Species
August's hybrid nature is impossible to miss. They tower over most, and can certainly be intimidating with their horns, claws, and tail. They also can shapeshift webbed wings. Their gear isn't subtle, either. Thankfully they're usually not nearly as threatening as they appear, instead almost overly friendly. But when they do get angry.. their emotions can transform them, lending them further dragon features, like a snout full of sharp teeth, or more deadly claws.
They have more traits due to their dragon blood, too. For one thing, they can't stand the cold. (which is unfortunate since most of their friends live in the north..) They're somewhat cold-blooded after all - or at least that's what they like to say. Maybe they're a little dramatic. On the other side of things, August is partially immune to fire, which is useful during trips to the Nether and encounters with lava. They'll still get burned if they push it, but in most cases they get away unharmed. They can also speak a little bit of rough, growly Ender.
Friend to Creatures
August can often be seen talking to birds - corvids in particular. They can understand each other, and the birds bring news of the rest of the server (as well as the occasional trinket gift) to them. This is also their preferred method of communication with others. Though they have a communicator, it's a bit hard to use in their hands, so they go with letters tied to bird's legs instead in most non-emergency cases.
Being distantly related to them, August is always very friendly to Enderman. They staunchly refuse to kill them, and get upset if they see anyone doing so. Enderman treat them with respect, and sometimes August can be seen deep in conversation with one - though it'll transport away if someone else arrives. The two speak slightly different dialects of Ender, but they're still able to communicate.
