Story notes:

Comes from Valfore, a country from another world
- Valfore itself is more based around European countries. He was born in Valfore but his parents were likely immigrants from elsewhere.
Orphan, doesn't remember his parents and grew up scraping out a living with others who lived on the street
Has little love for Valfore, didn't hesitate to leave when his world and Peter's world were first connected
- He was in his early teens when he did so
Trans-man, Heteroromantic/Ace
Lives in a large city in Peter's world. Fluent in the predominant language spoken there, but has a distinct Valforian accent (accent has no accurate real world equivalent considering both languages are fantasy languages and I am no linguist).
"Shey" is a nickname given to him by Peter before he knew his real name, also technically goes by "Theo"
- He does actually have a last name, I've just been REALLY indecisive about it
Holds some bitter feelings towards certain people from his past (cough// Gerhardt //cough)
Scholar by occupation
- Co-founder of the Inkwell Guild and Lunarcrest Library
- Believes in the value of making academic knowledge accessible to the general public
Fiercely loyal to those who stand by him
Has absolutely no patience for fairweather friends and those who abandon their companions in the face of personal peril

Actually the third or fourth iteration of a character I've had for a long time
- This version specifically has been around since ~2015
Was originally more of a major character rather than the main in the story I had him in but I ended up really taking a shine to him instead of the somewhat generic protag
