Maskitt

Incredibly shy when without a costume, this monster toddles about in search for scraps of cloth while hiding their tiny gem horn from sight. In the wild, evolved members of this mon's line as well as Mesmullem will take great care in making them attire from leaves and recycled trash. Maskitt when clothed absolutely love to put on shows for those they care for and will commit entirely to the act of their role. A popular monster for the acting industry made famous from a recent play starring one of the final evolutions. Their cloth arms shed sequin-like bejeweled scales and they often use them as decor for their stage, in the wild it isn't too hard to find a Maskitt's stage as they make it very obvious when the ground is littered with priceless gems. When forced to show their gem they will throw a tantrum and cry for hours on end, and if the gem manages to touch a light source a small but destructive beam of light is reflected back out. It is recommended not to force your Maskitt into showing you their gem as it is their most precious thing. Thieves and poachers alike have been noted to hunt Maskitt in the dead of night for their precious jewels, leaving them to cry and run for safety as the thieves gorge themselves upon the bounty.
