A laid back person. A bar owner and a bit of a workaholic, but has recently been urged to take a vacation. He doesn't take things too seriously and is generally friendly, but has a commanding presence. A good listener who feels easy to open up to, but you should be cautious how much information you give them. If you really focused, you'd notice their unwavering attention is because they're analyzing you, rather than caring for your story...
You can freely ask about their past, but they're not going to give you a straight answer. And if you ask them how they got their scars, they'll tell you a different story every time.
-Not particularly a good person? Chaotic Neutral. Doesn't go out of their way to hurt others and do "bad things", but is inherintly selfish. They do not put others before themselves or sacrifice themselves. Lives by their own ideas rather than of the law or some 'moral code'.
-The scar on Vega's face comes from a fight they had with their father at a young age that lead to them getting injured
cliffnotes background: they were the child of a mafia boss, killed him bc he was driving the family into the ground and didn't want to constantly be living life on the edge of dying and being used as a tool by him. passed the family off to his uncle or smth and left to start a bar. But they still value power over others as the ultimate way to keep control over their life so they deal in information and facilitating underground deals. still in contact with their family, but not interested in taking over.

Runs a bar called (idk i'll decide on a name someday). A high-class establishment for business meetings, drinking with old friends, or perhaps conversations you don't want picked up by others.
If you're in the right circles, you'd know the owner deals in dangerous information. Which could be yours, for the right price. Only a few select people know anything else about them though, and it probably isnt worth the risk digging into...
Their real name is Luca Vercellino, only child to the boss of the Vercellino family. A respected family, up until their father took over. He was power hungry and selfish, upsetting the normal power balance and unspoken rules between families. Unlike the boss before him, he wasn't respected, just feared. His actions caused tension between the other families, and sowed uncertainity for the families future. It seemed at times they were moments from breaking out into an all out war. Vega's father was aggressive and controlling, relying on the loyalty and sacrifice of his family (especially Vega) to achieve his goals.
However Vega never particularly shared his thirst for power or money. They did care for their family, the ones who they grew up with and took care of them when their father would not- but the pressure of their father's ambitions and control over their life began to drive them over the edge. They were sick of being used as a tool, of risking their life every day for their father who could care less for his life or the lives of the family. They wanted it to end. Even if it meant making themselves an enemy of the family.
