PROFILE
Sally's past is a secret she keeps close to her chest, so don't tell anyone!
Born in Eastern Europe, Sally lived an extremely impoverished childhood. Despite the fact that she went hungry most days, Sally had an extremely sharp and naturally intelligent mind. this led to her coming up with many different schemes and ideas for how to get food in her family's mouth and money in her family's pockets. She lived with a few siblings and a mother and a father, and as the eldest child, she felt extremely responsible for everyone in her heart, so she was always very hardworking.
When she was old enough to be out on her own, she scrounged up enough money on the side to make the trip to America, where she was determined to strike it rich so that she could come home with full pockets. She also didn't want to have to worry about her parents feeding her. The first years were extremely difficult and lonely, and she couldn't speak English too good at first, but she was making better money than she could anywhere else and living very frugally, so it wasn't too much of a problem for her. She also became very proficient in scamming people, and conning people out of money, sometimes even just picking pockets, sad as it is to say -- but she had to make ends meet somehow!
Once she was in, she was in very deep. She became amazing at lying to people, and was a very talented actress. This and that happened, and she started to become very interested in circus life and the performing arts. That was when she had the idea to create a traveling circus, and go from city to city picking up as much money as possible, even someday turning it into a huge franchise. She became extremely fixated on this idea, and began to almost feverishly work on it. And that's how the Reve Gentille circus was born, along with its multitalented and crafty ringmaster, "Sally Surreptitious".
PERSONALITY
Sally is an extremely eccentric and hard-to-figure-out person. She can be putting on a huge smile and acting her heart out, capturing people's attentions and hearts, and then the second she's in private completely drop all charades and be a whole new person. Because of this elusiveness, even her group members only know a very surface level version of her. In general, Sally isn't super in touch with her honest emotions: she's more business and action minded, and can put on a show of any emotion, really. It's more of a survival instinct: to just keep her head down and continue working. However, she's not always fake, and she doesn't always lie; it's just that, it's hard to tell the difference between the two when you see her in action. In truth, Sally is a very loving, caring person. She works hard so that the people around her can be safe and survive well, and she knows how to put on a dang good show.

TRIVIA
- Her name back home was Sabina, but she changed it to "Sally" because she thought it was easier and more whimsical.
- She's a wonderful cook, and will never let anyone in her troupe waste food OR go hungry.
- She's extremely motherly to everyone, especially Babs, who actively sees her as a mother. However, it's mostly in a playful sense that she calls herself "group mama".
- Because of how private Sally is and how much she keeps things close to her chest, a lot of members of the group have a really hard time trusting her completely. However, after some years of being in her little "family", they've picked up ideas about her past here and there, and have come to accept her secrecy as simply part of her personality.
- The fact that Sally wears lots of clown makeup and moves from city to city, state to state, also helps her keep one step ahead of the law!
- Sally is extremely hardworking to the point where it puts everyone else in the group at awe. She's always burning the midnight oil, smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee.
- On top of being the ringmaster and leader of the circus performances, she also acts as their financial advisor and manager, naturally.
- She's also an amazing method actress. In another life she would probably be an amazing film, TV, or stage actor.
- She is extremely agender/genderless in an extremely indescribable way.
