PROFILE
Roscoe and his brother Duke are some of the only pureblood vampires left walking the Earth. In this universe, only pureblood vampires are the ones who crave blood; not their unfortunate victims, the human-turned-vampires, who are simply eternally undead. However, Roscoe primarily chooses to drink the blood of animals, as drinking human blood is something he considers "too intimate" and "embarrassing". He has amazing control of these urges and isn't bothered by his dietary choices whatsoever.
However, his life changed when a human woman came into his life: Sheila. The two fell in love and decided that Roscoe should bite and turn Sheila so that they can be married for all of eternity. That was the first and only time he ever turned a human being -- however things got testy after a couple centuries and they eventually got divorced. Still slightly in love with Sheila (after all, hers is the only human blood hes ever tasted), he frets after her constantly. Now, he worries about forming relationships with any member of humanity, fearing becoming too attached to those beings with such short lifetimes, and has become a very lonely, fretting recluse.
Overall, Roscoe can be described as a good person who makes very stupid, bad decisions.
PERSONALITY
Yes, Roscoe is not the brightest bulb in the box. He's a nervous wreck and an incessant chatterbox, as well as an emotional, fussy, over-empathetic crybaby. His brother Duke can only lovingly describe him as being a very annoying person, and Sheila would probably describe him as being an over-attached weeping buffoon. However, he is not without his good qualities, I swear! Roscoe has an overabundance of love to give to the world. He has a fondness and interest in human culture despite being completely detached from it. He is amazing with kids, and is something of a kid-at-heart, himself. And like I said, he has an amazing control of his vampiric desires, which only worsened after he drank Sheila's blood -- but which he always controlled, and works hard not to turn any humans. Overall, he has a very fond, fatherly presence, and only wishes to be loved reciprocally by those around him. But because of the fact that he is very detached from the world, lived in an out-of-touch vampiric culture, and in general isn't that smart, this can lead to him making very stupid decisions or misunderstanding people very easily.

- Even though he doesn't understand it, Roscoe is extremely fascinated by modern technology, and can't praise humanity enough for its technological innovations.
- Unlike his brother, Roscoe is pretty much stuck in the 1800s.
- Someday, he would like to have a big family and a bunch of kids, but the vampire dating pool is pretty tiny and he's a little traumatized from being in relationships with humans.
- However, he's happy to consider Georgina, Fawkes, and Elise his own children, and is so happy when they come to him with their problems like they would a real father.
- He's an amazing gardener and can also play various instruments very well.
