Ecto is rude, boastful, mischievous and cunning. He was used in a lab as a test subject, undergoing many cruel experiments. After a particular experiment, Ecto was cut in half and became a ghost. He saw it as his duty to get revenge and haunt doctors and surgeons alike as he grew an extreme hatred towards them.
