Fallen into a river, dragged under the currents, and swept right into a tear in space and time. It's just about as unlucky as anyone could possibly get - but it happened, and it happened to Styx. Saved from the water by a stranger, Styx would come to find that they had no memory of who they had been before the incident, let alone where they had come from. Even their own name was lost to them, though something drew them to the name "Styx." It could just be a morbid sense of humor in regards to their situation... or, it could possibly be something more.

When one is swept into another dimension's version of Hell, the possibilities are endless, though limited by one's knowledge. And if their savior is working for a demon king who reaps the souls of the damned? Sure, why the Hell not.
