Personality

Avean is very friendly with all his crewmates, and gets along with them all well. He considers them all like a family to him and would never do anything to hurt any of them. He's a little shy and can be nervous or awkward around new people or people he looks up to, but he tries his best to not show it.

Due to the imposter parasite they have, they have to deal with constant extreme hunger, and frequent pains, shaking, hot/cold flashes, and more. They have times where it's hard for them to decipher reality from what's going on in their mind and can struggle to stay present.

History

He joined the crew not too long ago, but that doesn't change how close he feels to all of them. He's been on several missions with them and looks forwards to going on many more. He's one of the newer members of their crew, and some of the others like to help show him the ropes and mentor him.

They got infected with the imposter parasite before becoming a member of their crew, though they didn't know they had it at the time. This means that in every instance of every mission they go on they have the parasite.

Worldbuilding

In this universe, all crewmembers while on the ship are just clones of themselves. Due to high rates of infection with the imposter parasite, and with no known way to actually stop or cure it, it's too risky to send actual people on missions anymore. However, despite being clones, they still have a physical form which can feel pain. Their memories are linked so that if a clone dies, the person will still remember everything that happened to the clone of themself.

The Imposter Parasite

The parasite causes extreme physical and mental variations that cause a lot of issues for the infected individual. Avean deals with constant extreme hunger, and frequent pains, shaking, hot/cold flashes, and more due to the parasite. They have times where it's hard for them to decipher reality from what's going on in their mind and can struggle to stay present.

They can also have strange physical mutations such as extra eyes, mouths, tendrils, etc.
