Argula

Argula is a malevolent trickster spirit who prides itself in the chaos and confusion it sows. Residing in the deepest, inhospitable jungles, it lures treasure seekers, travelers and lost souls alike in further, manipulating shadows and causing them to lose direction. It feeds off negative energy derived from frustration, and loves to watch groups turn against eachother, split up, and become further engulfed by the jungle. They love to instill fear and panic with voices, sounds and constantly watching the paranoia of their prey grow before inflicting physical attacks and ultimately killing them. Great at mimicking voices and sounds, particularly cellphones. It's all a game to them, and the only way to win is to stay together, don't panic, and don't betray your friends.

Inspired a bit by both The Ruins and The Ritual - The Ruins in how it messes with people by immitiating voices and turning people against eachother deep in the nowhere jungle, and The Ritual in how it hides in plain sight and feeds off negative energy and groups splitting up.

DESIGN NOTES: Big toothy grin is a must, please keep lighter line around their mouth, eyes and nose. Dots/stripes/patches don't have to be exact -- they're a shapeshifter, so consistency isn't key, eyes can be white/reflective or dark with lighter iris
