Woodsman is a very nice and outgoing person, he likes to hang out with everyone and discuss stuff with them, he likes hearing about peoples day or things they're working on.
Though Woodsman loves interacting with people and is fairly outgoing, he's pretty quiet verbally, which makes him the perfect person to rant to. Woodsman just likes to sit and listen to people talk to him, but can talk more the longer you hang out with him, he can be loud when he's excited or invested in some sort of conversation or story.
Most of his close friends call him Woody.

Summary
Woodsman was born to parents who were semi-neglectful, but they would never dare admit it.
Woodsman grew up homeschooled by his parents, though his parents always pressured him about school and getting a job, they never really taught him anything. Since Woodsman grew up on a farm in Texas, he did more farm work than school work, and ended up growing up very uneducated. He knew the basics, but not enough to be considered any sort of "smart".
As Woodsman got older, around 9 years old, he found out that he had a neighbor a few years older than him, Engineer (though of course, went by Dell at the time). Woodsman had somehow befriended another homeschooler, but happened to have a completely opposite situation when it came to school, Engineer was very smart and educated, but did not mock or laugh about Woodsmans lack of it, and was very understanding.
When Woodsman was 13, his parents had another kid, a little brother (at the time sister). Due to their parents neglect, Woodsman spent a lot of time raising his brother, Quintin, and sometimes Engineer would help as well. They both tried educating him as much as they could, even though Engineer was still educating Woodsman.
Timeskip to when Woodsman was 29, Quintin being 16, Engineer moved out of his parents house to live on his own, and Woodsman took this as an opprotunity to basically run away from his home situation to live with Engineer, bringing Quintin with him. Woodsman had a hard time moving out of the house due to his parents wanting him to stay to help on their farm.
Once they all moved in together, they all bonded over finally leaving their bad family situations, and Engineer helping them through their transitions, since he had already started his. After a few years of living together, Engineer left to go work at a "job" he had just gotten, and after that, Woodsman didn't hear from him for about 5 years. Woodsman honestly felt terrible, but he hoped that Engineers job treated him well, he knew he deserved it.
When Woodsman finally heard back from Engineer, he didn't even believe it at first. Engineer had asked them if they wanted to get hired at his job as Mercenaries, in which both Woodsman and his brother Quintin (who would be known as Slinger) agreed. Ms. Pauling eventually came and picked them up, and brought them to the mercenaries.
Woodsman, Slinger, and Engineer were all overjoyed to see each other again, and were kindly given a few days to catch up with each other. When it came to bunking and having a place to sleep, Engineer offered they both stay in his room since he knew them, but would eventually be agreed that Slinger would bunk with Sniper.

Medic | Partner
Medic and Woodsman first met when Woodsman had to go through the operation of getting the ubercharge heart implant, but as Medic does, he also gave Woodsman his top surgery. Honestly Woodsman was kind of scared of Medic at first, and would purposely avoid check ups from him just so he wouldn't have to see him. Woodsman and Medic would eventually bond over Medic telling Woodsman and excessive amount of stories about Engineer during his time away after hearing that they were childhood friends, and eventually opened up to each other. Medic had a very theraputic vibe to him despite his very prominent craziness. Woodsman liked Medics enthusiasm and over-affectionate tendencies and Medic liked Woodsmans open mindedness and general friendliness. Woodsman tends to be very open with Medic, and Medic is also very good at keeping secrets and is surprisingly understanding.
Engineer | Brotherly Figure
Due to Woodsman and Engineer growing up together for almost their entire childhood, They're extremely close, and consider each other brothers, not even just as a brotherly figure way, they literally call each other brothers and family. They're not blood related or even considered brothers legally, but they might as well be. Since Engineer tends to spend time with Medic to do research and tests and what not, Woodsman usually tends to hang out with them and watch them work. Sometimes Woodsman tries to learn something, but nothing really goes through. Engie and Medic sometimes lets him join in and help any chance they can. Engineer is the merc Woodsman is most open with. When people ask about their relationship they say "We're brothers."
Slinger| Brother
Woodsman basically helped raise Slinger, due to their parents neglect. Woodsman thinks Slingers crush on Scout is odd, but tries to support him.
Demoman | Friend
Though Woodsman doesn't get drunk himself, he's always willing to be there for Demo when he is, listening to him ramble and helps him get back to bed when needed. They have a similar relationship as to Soldier, being extremely rough with each other as some weird way of bonding and sometimes they just start screaming at each other because they think it's funny.
Sniper | Good Friend
Woodsman enjoys talking with Sniper a lot, probably one of his favorite people to talk to. Though Sniper doesn't usually open up and talk about himself or even how his day went, Woodsman is happy whenever he does and generally likes being around him. Kinda sees Sniper like a younger brother and treats him as such, which Sniper sometimes finds amusing.
Spy | Acquaintances
Woodsman Isn't the biggest fan of Spy, but they also don't interact very often. Woodsman kind of assumes that Spy doesn't really enjoy his company or talking to him in general, if that's true, I guess we'll never know. Woodsman tends to be fairly quiet when around Spy.
Soldier | Good Friend
Soldier is one of the people Woodsman is loudest around, when they talk to each other they tend to both get extremely excited and enthusiastic and basically yell at each other. There's also instances where Woodsman and Soldier wrestle each other as friendly "manly" fighting. They also tend to give each other noogies and slam their foreheads together as an odd way of greeting each other. They also tend to be overprotective and defensive over each other.
Pyro | Friend
Woodsman loves talking to Pyro, even if he doesn't have anything to say back, he just loves Pyros enthusiasm, and Pyro is a great listener. If Woodsman is telling a story and suddenly gets excited, Pyro will also suddenly get excited and jump around.
Scout | Friend
Woodsman basically treats Scout like an annoying little brother, he likes to annoy the shit out of Scout, putting him in tight hugs or headlocks Scout can't escape or tease him about his crush on Slinger right in front of him. He means it all in good heart.
Zhanna | Acquaintances
Though Woodsman doesn't interact with Zhanna often, He still likes her and enjoys her company. Woodsman and Zhanna get along pretty well, and Woodsman likes the relationship her and Soldier have. Though usually Woodsman doesn't usually like seeing PDA, he doesn't mind when its Zhanna and Soldier.
Heavy | Friend
Heavy and Woodsman are the two that probably talk the most shit about others, and tend to laugh with each other about it. Someone does something stupid and they just give each other the side look. Woodsman likes to hear stories Heavy has when he does talk about them.
Ms. Pauling | Acquaintances
Woodsman doesn't usually interact with Pauling much, usually when he does it's strictly business. Woodsman feels like Pauling looks at him as lower than him due to his past with education, and she just generally kind of intimidates him so he prefers to not talk to her.
