danuria replaced flurryheart in an alternate timeline. basically, when queen chrysalis was in possession of cadence's body (which was, at the time, pregnant unbeknownst to the other ponies), she sensed she was about to be killed and replaced shining armors dna with her own, making cadences baby a changling. cadence and shining armor were never aware of this, but when uri was born they were very upset. of course it is against the princess's way to discard a child, so they rose her as their own- naming her danuria, after a genus of praying mantis. despite her appearance, uri is very kindhearted, and while she is a changeling (no cutie mark or specific talent) she prides herself on her wonderful care of others and such. she works in the crystal empires best nursery.
