Loven took after his mother, Lovelle, and was on the ice from birth, practically.  He would watch old videos and tapes of his mother's old competitive skating routines and was raised by a bunch of 'uncles and aunties' that were professional skaters and he knew that that is exactly what he wanted to do.  His mother took him under her wing until he was 12 when he started getting into the more advanced competitions and needed extensive training for jumps.  He has improved much in that time, though he is still a bit inconsistent with jumps and particularly struggles with triple axels.  Loven has become reknown for his artistry, particularly his spins and how he seems to glide across the ice.

Loven in person is very high energy and positive, no matter what happens to him.  It's very rare to see him without a smile, even if it seems forced.
