Lives with Lucier Decrevi

A plush bunny toy who, through convoluted means, became (something close to) a human. (His story is inspired by "The Velveteen Rabbit" by Margery Williams, and a nod to his name "Velveteen" given by the previous owner, before I traded for him.)

His human appearance is almost like a doll, with smooth skin and glassy eyes. Vern does not have sweat glands, so he cannot sweat and overheats very easily. Beware of touching his skin after prolonged sun exposure. It will burn.

Vern is very affectionate and has a craving for acknowledgment. He uses heat as a substitute for human interaction and wears a heavy coat due to that. Warmth also makes him drowsy. He still has the plush version of himself in his possession. (Check original ref image.)
