  • Sunny (and the VN in general) is supposed to be commentary on the girl-next-door trope falling in love with supernatural guys.
  • I want Sunny to be a character who stands up for herself and focuses on her own goals rather than having her entire life center around her love interest, as is common in YA romance novels.

Me, I designed her
  • I tried to keep Sunny's design relatively generic
  • Orange and yellow are her colors with other warm tones.
  • I like to put the sun, other stars, and sunflowers on her as accessories. A little on the nose but I like it.
  • I designed her after my character Gale, so a lot of design decisions are influenced by him. I have an entire pinterest board dedicated to her style!
