Gawain is Guinevere Faethor's husband. His older littermate is Lancelot, and while she's much better equipped to run the family business Gawain is usually considered to be the more down to earth of the two. Before meeting his wife Gawain mostly worked with the Burgundy Faire as a supervisor, mostly around the animals used in the fairs. His passion was really with raising, training, and breeding horses. Both for the Faire and for clients to a limited extent.
Gawain met Ginny when she competed in a jousting tournament hosted by the Faire. He was the "stable boy"/"page" assigned to her and definitely flirted with her. They became friends and took a liking to each other. Gawain refused to marry Ginny before becoming a knight, wanting to be on equal standing with his partner. He was her squire for several years before being knighted. Pretty much the second after being knighted Gawain turned around, got on one knee and proposed to Ginny. Yeah. If you can tell they're kind of a dramatic couple.
Especially when they were dating Gawain had some insecurities in relation to his (future) wife. Worrying that he was too cheap/plain/common/etc. for her, because of her status as the daughter of a duke and niece to the king. Ginny is very dedicated to the knightly ideal, and while Gawain grew up around the constant performance of that before meeting her he rarely believed it was anything more than a performed ideal. Or at least that the reality was more nuanced than the romantic idea of chivalry.
Later on in life Gawain and Ginny had 3 kids. Candor and Veracity in their first litter and then Galahad in a second litter years later.
Also he can juggle extremely well and is pretty good at cooking. Bakes good bread, and makes a mean spinach casserole.
He is 5'7" and his voice claim is Chris Hackney but like, maybe with a very very slight southern accent.
