About:
The first impression people get from Lotl's deadpan demeanor is that they're quite aloof and apathetic - which isn't entirely untrue. However, there's more than meets the eye, but very few people get to see any more sides of them. They're quite hard to connect with and don't care how they come across to strangers, so they can be quite blunt and sometimes even rude. But it's all just a facade to keep their emotional walls intact, whether they want to or not.
They carry the "monster gene", which gives Lotl the ability to change forms, they grow wings and a tail in this form (they can't fly though) and they can throw up a black tar-like goop that can be used as portals if big enough. Lotl can go in and out of this form at will, but if they're under emotional distress they'll transform whether they want to or not. Many toonos carry the monster gene, but this condition is a social taboo and is encouraged to be hidden from society.
