first prince of the loptrian empire and son of emperor galle l (after he loses his mind) + archbishop anaris through a political arrangement
possessing little relevance to either of them outside of being heir to the throne, he develops a lonely, quiet, and gentle nature and often keeps to himself hidden away in the gardens or library- even trying to run away from the palace at a few points
is no stranger to the fact that his father used to be different, and though it is forbidden to speak about and he never knew him as such, he still secretly wishes that galle (and by extension, loptyr) will somehow return to normal and put an end to the whole reign of terror thing
despite his inherited dragonblood, skill in dark magic does not come easily to him and he is largely regarded with scorn (especially from his mother) out of fear that loptyr will not deem him a suitable vessel
however that ends up happening anyway and he loses all control over his body in his teenage years :( never stops fighting for control and causing loptyr problems though!
design notes:
- can be drawn with or without crown. he hates wearing it, so if he has it on he’s probably sad
- always tucks one bang behind his left ear but leaves the other down
- his brand is on his right wrist
