Extroverted and kind lifeguard then ends up a little more rough around the edges after a highly infectious and deadly disease similar to rabies ravages the planet, leaving society in shambles as a cure can not be developed fast enough for the world to remain stable. As a result, countries tensions grow and several wars break out due to unstable leadership. Sage, a civilian caught in between the midst of this, becomes a more hardened individual and struggles with her more kinder identity in a world where it's difficult to trust anyone.

Summary
Growing up with a small but loving family, Sage adored her parents growing up and looked up to both of them. Her childhood was exceptionally happy, though she often wished she could have grown up with siblings. As an only child, she often felt smothered by her parents, but their support of her made it difficult to find it irritating. Life was fairly easy for her growing up: her parents were never struggling for money, their relationships within the family were strong, and the foundation for a family her parents built was something that few children could ever know.
It wasn't until the tragic disease that is plaguing Sage's world came that her life changed for the worst. (sorry still writing the rest of this....)

• can be drawn human, anthro, or feral. please remember when drawing human that Sage is African American.
• anthro form can be drawn with or without hair
• body type is slender but muscular
• loves plaid material but wears what is practical
Trivia
• Sage has a soft spot for silly patterns on clothing.
• although bugs are abundant in an apocalypse, she still sometimes screams internally when finding a big roach or spider
