A dragon who is always on edge and tends to keep her guard up as much as possible. Nightkeeper can keep her emotions well controlled, but she has limits where she can’t bear keeping calm. She is kind to her friends and will go above and beyond to make sure they are safe. In situations where her friends become zombified, she loses a bit of herself and blames herself heavily for their losses. Nightkeeper is a bit closed-off to her group of survivors, but she’s closer to Java, Lemondrop and Kal, but she is closest to Oswin.
Nightkeeper gets her aggressive nature from a life of bounty hunting and training since she was a dragonet. She was an heir to her mother’s ship and family title, so she was trained to be the absolute best at what she does, let it be fighting or surviving off of little luck. Everything changed when the apocalypse hit the world, so her mother immediately set the ship to sail on sea and away from land permanently. It wasn’t until after six months that they started running out of resources, so her mother sent Nightkeeper and her cousin, Frostbite, to gather more food. When they came back with the first load, they saw their family ship being overridden with zombies and almost tipped over. Nightkeeper stood in shock, until Frostbite grabbed her to run away, but then he was dropped on by a zombified hyena that aggressively began mauling him. Nightkeeper could do nothing but run away as her cousin’s screams rang in her ears.

Design Notes:
- Nightkeeper is the biggest of the group with Angel being just as tall as her.
- Nightkeeper wears her hat most of the time and normally takes it off to look more approachable. When she has it on, there's always a shadow on her face with her eyes glowing.
- She gets her face and next scars from a bird attack in her second design, then the rest come after she runs away from the group.
- Nightkeeper keeps one of Oswin's feathers on her hat alongside her purple one to keep their memory after their death.
- In Nightkeeper's future design, she discards her pirate hat but keeps Oswin's feather in her hair near her torso. She also wears Java's earring.
