A Paint Slime Monster that just came up to my mind. 

Meet Slimone. They live in an art museum and can shapeshift into different pieces of artwork and people just for fun. Since they’re stuck in the past, they don’t believe that change is possible.

Rumor has it they were created by an unknown painter who was cynical about the world, hence their attitude. They favor acrylic paintings of still-lifes, landscapes, portraits, and anything abstract as long as it has “beauty” and “meaning”. They dislike modern art.
