Summary: Due to an accident a few years ago, parts of Legato's body have gained a water-like fluidity. It's thanks to her enchanted crystals that she wears that keeps her stable and allows her to wear normal clothes. Very lethargic and openly depressed. Has a dark sense of humor. Most likely to be found in the library alone. Likes licorice tea.
Background: Legato was born to a mage mother and ore merchant father. Her parents were content with having a simple and comfortable life in the capital city, with all kinds of possibilities awaiting Legato's future. When she was only 10 years old however, her father disappeared without a trace. Mere weeks after his disappearance, Legato's little sister, Staccato, was born.
While Staccato seemed excited to join the knights and Legato was starting her education late, she was determined to become a mage-alchemist. She had almost finished all her hard work by age 18.
But then, an 8-year-old Staccato was kidnapped by the corrupt Lord Tone. Legato was the one who was able to track him down, and allow Staccato to escape. By the time the two left the lord was still safe and sound, untouched and back on the streets without a word. And that was precisely what the family could say against him and his crimes - nothing. Left with no resolution, their mother scolded Legato for not protecting Staccato properly, ordering her to keep watch of her at all times. Staccato flourished from this care - at a cost.
Ultimately, Legato took a toll from her experience growing up. Desperate to catch up with her peers , she self-taught herself alchemy. Her home education was cut short, as she was severely injured in an accident that permanently altered the substance of her body.
Tired of her mother's disappointment and living in her younger sister's shadow, the minute she recovered from her accident, she moved out of the house and made her own home in Arcania. To this day, she now quietly runs her own shop as a general potions seller.
