Nadine is something of a Jigsaw fan-turned-accomplice-turned-Number One John Kramer Enemy. Now he hates his ass!!!!!! That guy killed his girlfriend!!!!!
So, it goes like this: in [year tbd; 2004?], a precocious Nadine Neus becomes transfixed, like much of the public at large, on the Jigsaw Killer. He pours himself into research on the cases, finding some morbid fascination in the elaborate thematic spectacle of it all. Nadine establishes a pretty sizable following in certain corners of the dark web, particularly after coding and developing a website for his findings: the infamous jigsawrules.com. Nadine loves the attention, loves having something to latch onto. He loves beating the cops to crime scenes and swiping little mementos of the Jigsaw monolith—small things that wouldn’t be noticed or missed. All in all, he’s coasting by on a pretty sweet life.
And then he wakes up latched into some sort of mechanism. Jagged metal clamps dig into his hips on either side, and his neck is bound in a fearsome collar.
“Hello, Nadine. I want to play a game.”
