About
Vik is a bit of a hermit, not really leaving home for much other than errands and visiting close friends or their partner. They love music, comic books, fiction and non-fiction novels [specifically historical fiction], horror movies and tv, video games, and have a passion for creating art in every conceivable form.
Personality
Vik is the definition of an introvert, in that they almost never leave their home, and when they do, it takes an incredible toll on them. They have a respectably sized social circle, and they find more than enough fulfilment through those in it. They’d rather spend their nights in their home, in the company of their luck dragon companion Joanna, than doing things socially. Thankfully, their circle understands and respects that, and recognizes the time that Vik allocates for them as a gift. The one large social obligation they stick to is the shows their band plays. Vik plays the guitar and provides backup vocals, and it is one of the very few socially extroverted things they enjoy. They also play the violin, but only privately as it feels like an incredibly intimate act. The violin is just for them.
Being a creator, Vik has their fingers in many pies. They write, draw, paint, build, play music, and anything else you can think of that requires a creative streak. Making things brings them great joy and they recognize how lucky they are that not only do they make a living through their passions, but a very lucrative one as well.
Vik is aromantic, and is in a queerplatonic relationship with Fang, the MMA trainer. They don’t share a home, and have zero plans to do so at any point in the future. Their arrangement includes exclusivity with regard to sexual intimacy, but is simply a great friendship beyond that.
They drive a 72’ AMC Javelin AMX which they love to death. Their close friend Bowie restored it for them and according to Bowie, Vik was an excellent helper.
