Avy

Avy is a half-blind purple sorceress feline who also has the ability to shapeshift—her main form being a curly fur Laperm she-cat with a tail ending in a large yellow eye, with the second being more ordinary lynx form. She used to be the antagonist in The Mirror Cage, but later was replaced by her human counterpart. Now, Avy lives in her original Fantasy World universe.

Description

In her main form, Avy is a purple cat with curly hair. Has a piercing gaze with intense yellow sclera, dark burgundy pupils and yellow swirls within; each eye has long eyelashes accompaning her elegant, fine white whiskers, as well as pale fur under their lower eyelids. A darker stripe runs along the outline of the profile to the nape of her neck and a much darker circle rests between her eyebrows, plus two dark lines make the outline of said stripe from her eyebrows to her ears, painting them the same color. Finally, the dark hair on the cheeks resembles a butterfly with open wings due to two tips that stick out towards the center of the face.
Lower down, another pointed line hugs her neck, creating a dark stripe that runs across the back to the striped tail, ending in a yellow eye that she uses to see. Horizontal lines mark the boundary between the dark and light coat on her back, resembling water waves. Avy's four legs appear to have socks with dark purple toes. Avy has long, thin claws that she uses as weapons. Most of her design is shared with her Iberian Lynx form, which it uses outside of Fantasy World to hide the unusual tail. In this form, Avy's pupils are white, evidencing the blindness even more.

Personality

Most of Avy's personality is rather external than internal. She hides well her true intentions and emotions under a thick mask of kindness, it's impossible to perceive what is really in her head. She comes across as sweet yet firm, giving a sense of confidence. Also a natural leader, always in front to make sure not to lose control of the rest. Avy's mask usually sets her away from the rest, sometimes making her feel like she can't quite even read what she wants herself.

Backstory

Avy was born in Fantasy World along with her brother Vitnir and her younger sister in a strawberry field. Born with the capacity to shapeshift, like all of her kind, but this costed her eyes, deteriorating her vision until getting blind. However, that didn't stop her from learning magic alongside her siblings. She specialized in fire related magic of healing with hopes of being able to cure her eyesight, but with no avail. At least the eye on the tail helped her see, althought not very clearly.

Long after, Avy began to welcome those who fell into the world and helping them find a home within a world wirh no return. Although, as an inhabitant, she's able to come and go as many times as she pleases, crossing over and living in many different worlds. Of course, with the promise of attracting more beings to Fantasy World or she could be punished by the creator of the pocket dimension.

Abilities

• Her fire magic is more like heat, with the ability to heal small wounds and erase scars, as well as keep fever stable. However, her magic turns into smoke when casted, being harmful to cure people with respiratory diseases.
• Avy's shape-shifting ability is related to her species. At a certain age they have the important task of deciding their second and last form. Avy chose a lynx to appear bigger and more imposing, as well as being able to visit other worlds without looking out of place, although she couldn't change the purple fur.
