Calamity

A primal elemental dragon. This creature is only known as “core crusher” or "Calamity", a name given to it by the inhabitants of the island chain it awoke on. Core crusher came alive when the largest volcano did. Able to control both elements of water and fire, the creature fueled the volcano, turned the seas against the islanders, and set fire to the island he resided. However, he is not always viewed as a creature of destruction- he is equally a creature of life. By erupting the volcano and driving on the lava, the dragon sculpted more land on the small island, by making the seas violent he decreased the villagers fishing practices allowing the fish to thrive, and by burning the ecosystems he destroyed invasive species that were threatening the islands natural inhabitants and created fertile soil for regrowth in the process.
