Psyche was raised in the Caelum clan, where she learned to help Caelum manage the weather in Niccosia. She was a natural when it came to learning her clan’s weather and transformation magic, but that was never enough for her. Psyche spent her days studying every book, scroll, or other material on magic she could get her hooves on. As she grew older, she took more and more after Caelum, secluding herself in the mountains, away from other Niccosians.
Psyche especially enjoys studying rare or obscure spells and forms of magic. Some say she even studies dangerous and forbidden spells, but good luck proving that. In addition to being secluded in the icy mountains, Psyche doesn’t take kindly to other Niccosians poking their noses into her business, and won’t hesitate to drive away anyone caught snooping around her stuff.
Despite spending most of her time alone, Psyche’s not antisocial, though she does often come off as a bit... “exccentric” in social situations. She’s very friendly, and sometimes even a bit flirtatious around those she takes a liking too; anyone else... well, she has been known to not-so-subtly threaten to turn other Niccosians into small rodents on occasion. Whether or not she’ll actually follow through with those threats is up for debate, but I wouldn’t suggest testing it.
Because of her knowledge of unusual spells and magic, Psyche can be a great help to any Niccosian with unsolved problems of a magical nature desperate enough to make the journey into the mountains to find her. Psyche also happens to be more than happy to help out with any problem that gives her the opportunity to study unusual magic.
