Simply put, my friends bullied me into getting a fursona so to spite them, I made myself a damn moth instead.

Dammoth is an anthro Lunar Moth that grew up in the northern forests of Maine. His species, moth fairies, are very secretive and rarely let themselves be seen by humans. Moth fairies can come in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and species and are scattered across the globe.

About Dammoth

Dammoth is a little shit. He's a bit loud at times and loves chatting up the neighbor that lives above him/below him in the tree, but will also sing human songs all the time. Very loudly. To humans, it's nothing but mild whispering. To other bugs, it's literally shouting at the top of his lungs.

He does not go inside human homes like some other moth fairies might to steal supplies, food, etc. Instead, Dammoth is crafty and knows exactly where to get materials that he may need in his day to day life. Usually trash cans, junk laying around in people's yards, and yard sales. Other than that, he tends to stay away from people like most moth fairies do

Currently, he lives inside the base of an old pinetree that he has transformed into his own little house. He uses items from humans to transform his little space, including a can-lid door, a bed from a doll house for his bed, a nips bottle to store water, and small metal tubes for windchimes.

• Nocturnal, but will be awake 'late' at sunrise since he likes the colors
• Can wear clothes, but doesn't tend to since doll clothes don't fit and sewing with pine needles is a pain. And also navigating around four arms isn't fun, either
• Doesn't fly around too much, only when needed since the bright color of his wings catches the attention of predators
• Has four arms, but uses the top two the most. Bottom ones will mimic the top ones hand gestures sometimes

• Lunar moths only live for 7-10 days in their adult phase, meaning they are born, they fuck, and they die.
• Even though they are not on any endangered species lists, there are less and less of of them each year.
• Their lower sets of wings have two false eyes to confuse and deter predators
• They are located practically all the way across the eastern US coast, but are also native to eastern parts of Canada
• Only the larva/worms eat fabric. It is a myth that adult moths in general eat clothes. Moths are known to eat grains such as birdseed, cereal, and even flour. Some moths also have a sweet tooth and eat chocolate as well.
