ok so actually alya is really into urbex and she accidentally finds a cult doing a ritual in an abandoned flour mill and almost gets caught but is saved by MYSTERIOUS PERSON who gives her some powers

yeah ok so alya: university student that gets abducted by a  cult and they try to use her as a human sacrifice to resurrect their  semi-mythological god-hero but she escapes before it finishes and now  shes on the run from the cult, but because of the interrupted ritual:

immediately transported into a parallel london completely empty of ppl but with like magic creatures/ magic connections between things

returns home but with powers

shes  slowly gaining the memories of the guy they tried to put into her but  like shes becoming him/taking up the mantle instead of being taken over  bc the ritual is slowly completing itself but in a different way than  the cult wouldve done it.

alya draws stop motion stick figures doing skateboard tricks in the  corners of her school notebooks. spencer’s introduction to magic was  silver ravenwolf. drew wrote a song about his hamster once and has  played it to every girlfriend he’s had (two of them) and said it was  about them. his first instrument was actually the concertina which he  played in an irish folk music group. one time irene sent her  international relations lecturer a compilation of cat gifs instead of  her essay and it was intentional but she pretended it was an accident
