Born and raised in a clan of Minotaurs, he was not raised by his biological parents, but by the clan's seer herself, Tojar didn't grow to understand what familial love was. As he grew older, and his mentor grew slow and senile, Tojar took over her duties as the clan seer at only 16. He earned the title of Truthspeaker due to his seer abilities, and his penchant for brutal honesty at only 17, four years before most minotaurs earn their title. Not only was he an excellent seer, but he was intelligent and helped choose the correct direction for the clan to take to prosper. And prosper it did. Under his directions, the clan thrived. They no longer lost any children through the devestating Winters or horrid Summers, their crops flourished and they opened trade with other species. But at the age of 28, Tojar made the wrong choice for the first time. And that decision cost him everything. It resulted in his clan being slaughtered, with only him and a couple of others surviving. A clan of hundreds, wiped out like the last frost melting beneath the Spring sun. After that, Tojar secluded himself to a forest, away from everyoone and everything, wracked by guilt and self hatred; living off the land and despising himself and his abilities with every ounce of his being.
