Imara
Imara is quick-witted when it comes to survival and hunting, but when it comes to talking to people she falls short because of the standoffish demeanor that she gives off as well as her zero to no social skills. She can be very blunt and doesn’t know when she should shut her mouth which makes a lot of people angry with her even though she doesn’t mean to. It also doesn’t help that she dislikes getting help from others as well as likes to do everything herself, and that causes a lot of problems for herself. Though if you get past her cold exterior she is a loyal friend you can count on for help who will do anything to keep you safe. Once she opens up fully with you, she will be comfortable enough to receive a bit of help, and will be almost like a different person than when you first met her.

- Physical Illnesses: Underdeveloped wings and tail feathers
- Mental Illnesses: PTSD (extreme heights trigger her)
- Strengths/Skills: Basic survival skills (Examples: Starting a fire, making shelter, navigating without a map, finding water, and etc.) Can glide for a short period of time, but only when she needs to. Good with close combat and fighting in forest areas. She is very light on her feet and has high stamina. Can use her talons on her hands and feet as weapons or as a means to protect herself. Hunting animals by means of traps and attacks. She also knows how to skin animals, and has knowledge of how not to waste any part of the animal.
- Weaknesses: Her wings and tail feathers are underdeveloped, so she cannot fly at all. She is not willing to ask for help even when she needs it the most. She wants to do everything herself which causes a lot of problems for her. Bad with range combat and will run away if the battle is not in her favor. Her attitude may cause people to view her in a negative light which can make people dislike her. As a result, she may occasionally make unintentional enemies with some people. This hatred is often one sided because she doesn’t mean any ill-intent. Any heights as extreme as mountains makes her freeze up and becomes very anxious. She may even get flashbacks to a traumatic event that happened when she was young.
- Hobbies: If she had any free time at all, which is very rare, she will whittle wood into walking sticks and small statues.
- Fears: She has fear of extremely tall heights due to past trauma. She will never try to go up a mountain even if it’s the fastest way.

Background
Imara was founded by her two fathers when she was just an egg abandoned in the forest. Her two fathers took it upon themselves to help hatch and raise the abandoned egg, but when she hatched they realized why she was abandoned; it was because she was underdeveloped. Her parents worked hard on making sure Imara stays safe since she was so fragile because of this she was coddled most of her childhood. She wasn’t allowed to go out of the house until she was 10, but she could only stay in the village. Imara was so excited to make friends and meet new people, but the children when seeing her started to make fun of her small wings. They teased her relentlessly and called her a dodo or chicken for the fact she couldn’t fly. Instead of letting it get to her, she just worked harder to fly on her own since she didn’t want her parents to know what had happened in fear that they wouldn’t let her outside because of the bullies.
After enough work she was able to glide for a bit, so she decided to go to the group of kids to gloat about her hard work. She climbed up in a tree and glided down from it, but it wasn’t enough to impress the kids, so they told her to climb the mountain near the village and glide down from that then they will think she is cool enough to play with. Imara didn't think at first and said she could so glide down the mountain. Her and the group of kids traveled up the mountain; however, when they reached the top, Imara noticed that this is a very bad idea. She tries to turn back and tell the kids that she can’t do this, but one of the kids decided it would be a funny idea to push her off the mountain. Out of panic, Imara’s wings flung out, and she started to glide down the mountain. Though the small moment of happiness was cut short when she began to drop too quickly that she couldn’t glide. She panicked as she flailed around in the air as she dropped quicker by the second. Luckily, her dad was around when she was falling (her parents were looking for her since it was late.), but he’s not the best flyer and Imara’s flailing didn’t help and he ends up hitting the side of the lower mountain. He hits the ground with a loud snap of his right wing, and with Imara held tightly in his arms.
When they got home, they found out her dad’s right wing was permanently broken from landing on it. Upon finding this out, Imara felt so distraught because she thought it was all her fault, and she became distracted from everyone around her. She never asked for help after the incident because she feels like she will just hurt people in the end. She kept to herself and stayed in her room just studying about anything. Over time, she learned to hunt and got really good to the point she decided this was the best job to do and she can do it alone with no help. Once she was old enough, she left home and went to live in a small cabin in the woods alone just living off the land the best she can.
