this story is still a big WIP without even a title yet, but the basic idea is that it's a world where various kemonomimis live, and the bunny ones have a curse cast upon them since hundreds of years; one of their eyes can see the world of the dead.

Orphan of mother and father and now living with her grandparents, Esther is a pretty happy-go-lucky and adventurous girl, never saying no at whatever chanche life throws at her. She's also very clever and often has top grades at school. Even though her cursed eye has been stitched up, the way she acts makes others think she still can perceive the world of the dead somehow. The stitched eye itself is surrounded by rumors and one of the reasons people tend to avoid her (her zombie-looking skin doesn't help either), usually always revolving on how she became an orphan (most popular opinion is that her parents thought her an abomination and stitched it up, then abandoning her, or she went crazy, stitched the eye up herself and then killed her parents). Whatever the truth is, Esther won't say; she may chat with everyone about everything, but never talks about herself, shrouded in mystery.
