Personality
⇀ Description
Cascade is a high strung personality who enjoys seeing others suffer, mostly due to her own suffering. She has no real tolerance for people, and while she can read them well, she has no empathy. She's somewhat spiteful to be around with most people. With a select few, however, she is easy going and relaxed. She depends on the few souls she feels comfortable around, as they're her only true social outlet. Everyone else is a just another victim of bitterness, and a way to wash away her own insecurities.
Besides this, she is excellent with animals. While she specifically breeds and sells bettas, she owns a variety of other fish, a skink, two snakes, and a turtle. She's caring and gentle with them, moreso than with anyone or anything else, and shows that she isn't a soul that completely lacks in compassion.
Appearance

In dragon form, Cascade is a lithe bodied but tough dragon. She specializes in using speed and agility rather than brute strength and size to fight. Although it makes her more easily spotted and, if taking damage, quicker to go down, it gives her an edge against guns and weapons not so easily maneaverable. Her wings loosely into thirds or stand rigid atop her back, leaving her wingspan notable even while folded.
In the rare times she uses her alt mode, Cascade is based off a Mitsubishi F-2. Originally intended to be an F-16 fighter, the original design specifications did not account for some of the extra parts needed to enable transformation. In the end, a larger jet model was needed. The solution was to build a model similar to the Mitsubishi F-2, which had a larger wing and tail span. Although not to the exact specifications of the model, she is officially classified as such, and there is very little visible difference.
Cascade is a sky blue with a lighter stripe across her back and head that also lines her wings and tail flaps. This sky blue fades into a darker shade on her legs and feet. Her belly, horns, wing, and tailtips are white. What's most notable about her design are the two bright orange stripes down her sides and on her wingtips. Her eyes are orange with a bright blue iris and dark pupil.

History
⇀ Background
Cascade was the first attempt to create a 'hybridization' between Earth and Cybertronian technology. Although successful in creating a cross between such different mechanical mediums, Cascade was ultimately a failed project. Besides her difficult personality, she was more glitch prone than an F-35. Early on did she show momentary but critical problems with vision, balance, and speech. Her first transformation ended with her getting stuck midway and from there tediously manually transformed. As issues continued, Cascade was quickly classified as not only grounded, but also a failure. For a short time Area 51 debated on deactivating and decommissioning her, but the notion was voted against due to the outcry of two of her creators.
Even so, Cascade was declared a classified project and only to leave base in a very small list of circumstances. With having not been put into service, the dragon found other hobbies to occupy her time. She found her passion to be animals. She fought with officials to set up a betta breeding program, and has since collected eleven breeding pairs of bettas, two for her own personal pets and enjoyment, and several other species of animals.
While classified as being unable to fly and unable to leave base, Cascade tries to make the best of it. She is bitter, but she finds enjoyment in taking it out on her 'brothers' and many of the scientists on base.
