character from an in progress map building game/ttrpg thing 

his story is not complete yet but so far...

Jack is a fox who lives in a peaceful meadow full of flowers. Settlers soon began building up a small new community near his meadow, sparking his curiosity.

They noticed him rather quickly and began feeding him spare fish from their abundance caught in the nearby stream, eventually passing this task off to one young girl in particular, Jill.

Jill has discovered that Jack can speak with humans but is keeping this information a secret to keep Jack safe from an insane woman named Jezebel who wants to trap him for unknown reasons.
