Summary
"These sellswords, the lot of 'em. Reckless and leaving a mess for others to clean up."
Solaria was a part of the now extinct Xaela tribe, Nassau, her and her brother the only known living members. The two rescued an Ishgardian Elezen man from Yetis and he pays their kindness back by adopting them. Both he and his wife provide all they can for the two. Solaria soon left her home of Ishgard at the age of 21 to pursue her dream of becoming an adventurer by furthering her training as a Lancer. At 24 years old, she becomes a fully-fledged Dragoon and instead of becoming an adventurer like she dreamed, she became a trainer at the Lancer's Guild, making Gridania her new home.
However, after a traumatizing incident that changed her life, she leaves Gridania and cuts all ties with all of her loved ones, living in isolation as a wanderer for a year. She tries to rebuild herself in Limsa Lominsa and Ul'dah during this time and after assisting in tearing down a sex ring in Ul'dah, Solaria fully committs to being a Sellsword, picking up odd jobs and whatever work she can find to keep herself afloat. Solaria currently travels with a band of other adventurers and for some reason, hasn't abandon them yet.

Skills
Dragoon
Solaria is a highly skilled Dragoon, using her small stature and flexibilty to her advantage. There's no doubt that she's truly a master with a lance and has fully harnessed the power of the Dragon within her.
Machinist
Solaria is skilled Machinist thanks to her Adopted Mother's teachings and trainings. Despite prefering her lance over her gun, she is completely capable to hold her own with just a gun. Her aim is deadly and reflexes quick but she is considerably slower in attacking than if she were to use a lance.
The Echo
Solaria's Echo is weak due to her resisting Hydaelyn's influence but some abilities she's gained from the Echo are extremely useful to her. More information on Solaria's echo can be found here!
Personality
Solaria, in the present, is a rather intimidating person. At face value, she seems annoyed all the time, as if the world constantly bothered her. She is extremely independent, not needing anyone else to survive and fully capable of taking care of herself. Because of her independent nature, she is a very distant person. She keeps people at arm's length, not finding any desire to get close to anyone for whatever reason. She may have a few confidants but it is strictly for business purposes. Solaria is very blunt and straight to the point, not caring for how her words may affect others. The truth hurts and she lives by that. She is also very quick to anger, her temper low and her patience thin. She is a tactical person and tries to always have a plan but when angered, she is very impulsive and her actions are based off of her emotions rather than her logic at that point, making her reckless and a liability to herself.
Despite her hardened demeanor, Solaria is an emotional person, who's actions are driven by her emotions, even if she doesn't want to admit it. She tries to keep people away but actually longs for companionship and believes that they can give her purpose. She may seem to detest anyone and everyone but she is not blind to recognize other people's struggles. She is not good with her words but she will do what she can to ensure that what little people she keeps close are safe. Her heart and mind are constantly at war with each other and she struggles to find a balance, if at all.

Story
Early Life
Solaria was born in the Azim Steppe and is the youngest of three children. She had two older brothers, a doting mother, and a father who was the second in command of their tribe. At the age of 7, she and her tribe left the Steppe and moved to Coerthas with other Xaela tribes in order to find a new way of life that wasn't as stifling as the Steppe. When they arrived, they were met with a harsh cold that seemed to get worse as the days went by and hostile neighbors in Ishgard who mistook them as Dravanians. Fearing for themselves, the Nassau journeyed further west towards the Dravanian Forelands, able to domesticate cattle and animals for survival. As harsh as the conditions were, they were a thriving tribe and were kind enough to offer succor to other displaced Xaelas, increasing their numbers. When they finally arrived to the Forelands, they settled down and laid roots.
During this time, Solaria and her brothers were taught useful skills in survival, combat, and other Nassau traditions as well as Steppe traditions, making sure that they never forgot their roots. Solaria got along well with the others in her tribe, a rather outgoing and happy child who maintained a postive outlook throughout their rough journey. She, along with other children in her tribe, were taught how to care for their livestock, cook, defend themselves, and other useful lifeskills, even teaching them the Common Tongue in order to communicate with those outside of their tribe. The Nassau were not a shy or reclusive tribe, providing aid and a place to stay for adventurers and any displaced Xaelas. They were an extremely kind tribe but that kindness led to their downfall.
A dying tribe of Xaelas that the Nassau picked up and cared for became jealous of how successful they've become in this New World and how many other Xaela tribes didn't stand a chance in these conditions. They found it frustrating that the Nassau readily gave some of their resources to outsiders and cared for the sick and elderly. They found it infuriating that they didn't fend for themselves and made sure only the strong survived but really, they were angry at themselves for not being able to survive and adapt like the Nassau have. Driven by their envy and hatred, they rose up in the middle of the night and proceeded to attack the unsuspecting Nassau, slaughtering every one of them and taking all of their resources for themselves. Solaria and Muge were able to escape thanks to their mother distracting some of their attackers, allowing them safe passage back towards Coerthas.
Now left to their own devices, Muge and Solaria, both very young, struggled to survive the best that they could in the blistering cold, hiding out in caves and abandoned buildings for shelter. They struggled but with the skills that their family and tribe taught them, they were able to fend for themselves for a short time, too paranoid and traumatized to seek help. The two managed to survive on their own for three months, until Solaria fell incredibly ill and Muge had no choice but to seek aid from the nearby Ishgardian Outpost. On their way to the outpost, did they notice that an Ishgardian man and his Chocobo-pulled carriage was being attacekd by Yetis. Muge persisted that they leave him to get her help but she insisted that they helped him because that's what Nassaus do. With that, the two managed to save the Elezen man from the attacking Yetis. He thanked them profusely and wondered how he could repay them but just by looking at the two, especially the young Solaria, there was only one thing he could do and that was to take them with him.
Ishgard
When Epoix Souronoud brought Solaria and Muge with him to Ishgard, Orie Souronoud, his wife, was surprised to see him return home from one of his business ventures with two children in tow, both thin enough for a gust of wind to blow them over. When he explained to her what had happened and that he wanted to take them in, she was hesitant at first to accept them in her home. Though she and her husband have been trying for children, she wasn't entirely sure if she would be ready to take them on, not sure of the challenges that would arise with raising Au Ra children, in Ishgard no less. Epoix reasoned with her that this was Halone's way of giving them a family and he wasn't going to complain or question it. Plus, he couldn't just leave them out there in the snow. Orie reluctantly agrees, to Epoix's delight, and from then on did they become a "family".
Understandably, Muge didn't trust either of them and Solaria, traumatized from the massacre, became incredibly shy and reclusive, always hiding behind her brother and sticking closely to his side. Both Epoix and Orie tried their best to provide whatever they needed and gave them all of the space they needed, not once forcing them to do anything they didn't want to. As the months went by, the walls that Muge and Solaria kept around themselves slowly crumbled as both Epoix and Orie proved themselves time and time again. When Solaria was experiencing terrible night terrors and sleepwalking, Epoix was very patient with her, trying to find ways to soothe her. He found that picking her up, rocking her, and singing to her helped immensely and though it didn't immediately cure her of the night terrors, it at least made them less frequent. He scoured Ishgard's resources and knowledge on Xaelas in hopes of finding traditional Xaela songs but found none so he resorted to singing lullabies his mother sung to him. This became a breakthrough in their relationship with the Souronouds and slowly, Muge and Solaria opened up.
Epoix and Orie provided all they could to them, making sure they recieved the best education Ishgard can provide, clothes, food, rooms of their own. Epoix was more succesful in getting close to the children then Orie did, as she and Muge fought constantly. Her relationship with both children were strained and there had been multiple times where she wanted to give up but at the behest of her husband and with better judgement, she kept trying her best. Orie proved herself a good mother when she took Muge and Solaria out to the markets to familiarize them to the area and she heard some elezans begin to whisper behind their backs. She put an end to the whispers very quickly by calling them outright in public, making it known how ignorant they were being towards her Auri children. When they got back home, Muge told her that they've learned to bear it and keep quiet but Orie told him that it wasn't right, no matter who they were. She continued to stand up for them, earning Muge's trust.
Through thick and thin, they became a tightknit family. Solaria eventually started calling them mother and father at the age of 12, while Muge took a little longer to come around in referring to them as such. Solaria, at this age, also began travelling with Epoix on his many business ventures, at the reluctance of both Muge and Orie. It was through these ventures does she start breaking out of her shell once more, meeting adventurers and travelling to these new and unfamiliar lands. The stories she gets told or hears about, seeing people of all kind, running around with no care or worry, and following the call of adventure inspired her to dream of becoming an adventurer one day.
Around the age of 16 did she stop accompanying her father on his business ventures, to which he became extremely saddened by but kept it to himself, and focused on training. Her mother started training her in the art of the Machinist , working on her aim and reflexes as well as her form and stamina. Solaria trained as hard as she could working on her stamina, her strength, and even her flexibilty. It was when she saw the Order of the Knights Dragoon in action one day that inspired her ot pick up a lance, believing it was her calling rather than being a Machinist. No one in Ishgard taught lancing for beginners so she made the resolve that, until she became of age to be able to leave on her own, she would work on the basics of her training. At the age of 21, Solaria leaves Ishgard on her own for good and travelled to Gridania to begin her training at the Lancer's Guild at once.
Gridania
When she arrived to Gridania, Solaria was a young, wide eyed sproutling that wanted nothing more than to become a great adventurer one day and this was the first step of many towards that goal. She took to lancing very quickly and easily, exelling before her peers at a faster rate than Ywain and the other trainers anticipated. However, despite how quick she was advancing, there were a few students who despised her as she showed them up and what was worse, in their eyes, she was an Au ra, an outsider in their eyes. It was made apparent that she wasn't accepted by them but she didn't care, more than used to being seen as an outsider.
However, not everyone hated her guts, as it is in the Lancer's Guild that she meets O'zhun. The two started as rivals, always trying to one up each other constantly, sparring, going on missions together, recounting missions to each other if they went on seperate ones. Their rivalry turned into a friendship and they relied on the other, encouraging each other to better themselves together. In addition to her friendship with O'zhun, Solaria took to training sproutling adventurers whenever the trainers needed help and it was during one training session where a sprout mastered a rather difficult move did she feel pride swell within her. Her time training and being at the Guild helped established Gridania to be her second home and where she decided that adventuring wasn't for her but rather helping wide-eyed sprouts to become adventurers themselves, believing it to be her calling. After a year of training, Ywain recognized Solaria's and O'zhun's progress and encouraged them to further their training by becoming fully fledged Dragoons recognized by Ishgard. Solaria was hesitant, not sure if she's ready to go back home after only a year away but made the resolve to go with O'zhun as she'd be there to train and come right back once she earned her place.
Upon returning to Ishgard with the intention of becoming Dragoons, the two train with a friend of Ywain's, Ser Alberic. He welcomes them and gets right to the training, pushing the two even further than they've ever been pushed in the Lancer's Guild. The training is rough, their endurance tested in the harsh cold, and their bodies ached even worse now that they were learning moves that took them further beyond what they already knew such as tapping into their inner dragons and harnessing its power. During her stay there, the other up and coming Dragoons were more or less nicer and tolerable to be around than those who envied her heavily backi n Gridania and it was a nice change of pace to be with others who only want to improve alongside with. It would be about 2 years later, at the age of 24, that Solaria and O'zhun both recieve their titles as Dragoons recognized by the Holy See and she returned to Gridania shortly after to become a trainer for the Lancer's Guild full time. In addition, Kann-E-Senna recognized her skills and recruited Solaria as one of her personal guards, though it was more of an on-call postion, to which she gratefully accepted.
However, her return to Gridania was not welcomed by all, namely the four who detested her entire existence. They made sure to make her life a living hell, their attacks escalating from small, petty things to full blown attacks. Solaria's trust in the Guild began to wane when nothing would be done about her abusers or, if something had been done, their attacks on her worsened. She had enough one day and absolutely wiped the floor with them, humiliating them in front of everyone in the guild. They disappeared shortly after and life in Gridania was better than ever for her. One day, she was called for a mission in the Bramble Patch but the distress call she recieved was a trap and she was assulted violently. When she came to, she found that she had been unconcious for three days.
After the incident, she pushed everyone away, not wanting to be seen as a victim or weak, pretending that it didn’t bother her. Ywain only ever saw her as something he could fix and any dark figure lurking in the corner of her vision made her jump, triggering the memories and pain of that night. Needing a break, she returned home and spent a day or two with her family, not telling them what actually happened to her. However, she overheard her parents and guests they had over gossipping about how one of the daughters of a prestigious family (though not of the High Houses) was viciously assaulted and that they blamed her, stating she had it coming to her for wearing immodest dresses and clothes. That if she really didn’t want it, she’d fight them till her dying breath. One of the guests stated that she’s better off dead, no longer pure in the eyes of the See, and should die in the Brume with the rest of the filthy low borns. Solaria, triggered beyond belief and heartbroken to not hear her parents deny or argue otherwise, believed they were of the same mind. She found no point in staying or seeking out her brother, afraid of him seeing her as a disgrace to their tribe, and left that very day with a few necessities, her lance, gun, and the clothes on her back.
Isolation
Her year of isolation was filled with misery and sleepless nights, consumed by horrible night terrors of her attackers on her again or her family disowning her and leaving her to rot. She no longer had ambitions, dreams, or a drive to keep her going. She really was a walking husk and believed that maybe it was better for her to have been left for dead. However, after a month in, she decided that she’d try to redeem herself, make herself stronger and become someone that her family and tribe would be proud of. She became a sellsword, travelling between Limsa, Ul’dah, and everywhere in between (Except for the Shroud), picking up odd jobs, deliveries, essentially living her original dream of being an adventurer. She was slowly recovering from her trauma, trying to tell herself that she was more than that. However, her nightmares still plagued her, she still reacted awfully when anyone would try to touch her, to get to know her. The words of her attackers and the people in her home would echo when anyone tried getting close to her, that ultimately she deserved to rot and, because of that, would continue to push people away and put up a strong front, despite being so torn up on the inside. She made a few acquaintances, people she can somewhat trust along the way, and had spent most of her time in Thanalan. One of the reasons was to hopefully find Tuva but a part of her also wanted to avoid finding him, afraid of what he would think of her should he learn what had happened to her.
Staying in Thanalan, working many odd jobs, clearing out dangerous fauna and beasts, gaining the favors and praise of the locals, Solaria was making a small name for herself, though she didn’t give out her name. She was only ever known as the Lancer. Her reputation, however, earned her the attention of a detestable and notorious group of traffickers that would kidnap and torture women and children. Solaria, believing she was taking a job from some commoner, was captured and knocked out. When she next awakens, she finds herself in a place completely unfamiliar to her, bound and gagged, with no weapon on her person to defend herself. The cave she was in was dark, dimly lit with a few lanterns, and she heard the quiet sniffles and sobs of others in the room with her. Her survival instincts and swiftness allowed her to free herself and she intended to leave to save herself the nand there. However, one of the members of whatever this was, she recognzed instanty as one of her attackers from that night. Logic and reasoning left her at that moment, filled with rage, and with her bare hands, clawed his throat out. She took the sword from his person and went around the room to free the others from their bindings and easily took down anyone that tried to stop her. After ensuring that those who were imprisoned escaped when she found a path to freedom, she went back in, sword in hand, looking for her belongings as well as planning to slaughter any other traffickers. She never did find the leader of the ring but she found another one of her attackers, the one who led the three others. He didn't beg or cry, rather he spat at her and called her slur after slur, but it didn't bother Solaria. She merely laughed and swiftly killed him. She doesn't remember much of that day, though she remembered feeling relief. There were still two out there somewhere but she'll find them in due time.
Since that day, Solaria continues to be a wandering Sellsword while searching for a purpose, even picking up work for a short period of time at the Bismarck in Limsa but that venture ended swiftly.
Trivia
Solaria is not only skilled with a lance and a gun, but she's also skilled with a sword of many kinds, preferring large swords. Anything with a sharp edge, she took a great interest in, never dabbling in magicks. In terms of Hand to Hand combat, she is skilled enough to hold her own, reyling on her reflexes and moves she's learned while training as a DRG but will not be able to compete with a skilled MNK for very long.
The rings on her horns are the only things she has that belonged to her mother, treasuring them deeply. They're made of silver cultivated from the Steppe.
The Nassau are a unique Xaela tribe in that they sport two sets of full grown horns. In terms of their traditions, they spiritually connect with their steeds, believing that the name they give their horses are told to them by the animal itself in their dreams. A connection is made by headbutting a horse after wrangling it, a sort of mutual understanding between rider and steed.
One of Solaria's favorite hobbies is to cook. She's also a rather clean person and maintains her hygiene. Thanks in part to her late Eldest brother, she is a survivalist and is perfectly capable of fending for herself in the wild.
Without the use of the Echo, Solaria is capable of speaking, writing, and reading multiple languages fluently: Old Auri, Common, Elezen, and that of the Nassau. Her fluency in Common and Elezen are thanks to the Ishgardian education her adopted parents made sure she and her brother received.
As the years pass, Solaria's search for Tuva (Luto) slowly lessened. After the assault in Gridania, she feels that should Tuva see who she's become, he would be disappointed in her and so she doesn't chance it.
Despite giving up her official title as a Dragoon for the Holy See, she will use her title and rank to her advantage should she need to. Even with her leaving Gridania behind, Solaria knows full well that her ties of having been one of the Seedseer's personal guard gives her an advantage and an unexpected ally.
Even though her father is a travelling businessman, she is able to avoid ever running into him as the merchants he does business with almost always speak of his arrival in the coming days. Her father and his personal guard are also easy to spot in a crowd and does everything in her power to avoid them and leave the area.

Yesenuva Nassau
Yesenuva was the Nassau tribe's second-in-command, the leader being his best friend. He trained those in his tribe who were able and willing how to fight and domesticate animals. Whenever the Nassaus were threatened, he was at the front line and viewed as a hero and legend to their people. He was a kind, just, and patient man, loving towards his family and prideful of his tribe and heritage. Though his and other children of their tribe have never seen the Steppes, he made sure to instill their traditions and culture. He loved Solaria so, being his only daughter, and always believed her to be a fighter based on her spirit. Because of that, though, he tended to be little harder on his children than the other children of the tribe because he knew they were always meant for greater things.
He was slaughtered on the night of the attack, protecting his family.
Otomnal Nassau
Otomnal was the ideal mother and wife. She cooked, cleaned, and cared for her children. She and the other caretakers, may they be man or woman, tended to the animals and agriculture of their tribe. She also taught the children of the tribe how to cook, self-defense, as well as Nassau and Steppe traditions so that they don't forget their roots. That isn't to say they weren't fighters as Otomnal was skilled with a sword, a katana more specifically. She likes to claim that she wiped the floor with Yesenuva when they first met but really it was because he was so enamored with her that it distracted him. He doesn't correct her though. She loved her family dearly and constantly doted on her only daughter.
She was slaughtered on the night of the attack, trying to ensure safe passage for Solaria and Muge and prayed to their God that they look over them.
Nayan Nassau
Nayan dreamed of following in the footsteps of his father, wanting to become a knight. He grew up to become a worthy fighter, wielding an axe to protect his tribe and family. Though he heard of the horrors that Ishgardians have brought unto other Xaelas from the ones they pick up, he hoped one day that they could clear up ignorant notions and misunderstandings and live in peace, wanting to know more of this New World. Nayan loved his siblings, personally taking up the mantle to teach both Muge and Solaria how to fight and defend themselves whenever their parents were too busy with other matters, which was pretty often. He also assisted his father in training new recruits as well as assisting in domesticating animals when he could. He was loved by many and had many hopes and expectations of him that he accepted with pride, dreaming of one day leading his people.
He was slaughtered on the night of the attack, standing beside his father in trying to protect their tribe. He was only 20 years old.
Muge Nassau
Muge was a rascal of a child, who'd rather go off on adventures than stay and protect the tribe. Anytime they brought amongst them a displaced Xaela, the stories that they told him filled his head with wonders and furthered his goal into one day leaving the tribe. He made many grandiose but hollow promises, promising to lead his people to a new age where they could thrive and rule the lands, for example.
As he grew older, to no one's surprise, he was a great fighter with a sword, much like his mother. He still maintains a mischievous personality though now that he's become arrogant and sought for his father's approval, believing that he favored Nayan over him.
Muge was 16 on the night of the attack, and, with the assistance of his mother before she perished, took Solaria, only 10 at the time, and fled and hid in the Coerthas Western Highlands. He remembered it to be a cold, blistering night. With the reality of the situation settling in, Muge became more hardened with the world, not anymore was he a boy with wild dreams. He tried his best to keep both him and his sister alive, hunting where he could and fending off wild animals and attackers. They took shelter in a cave and Muge swore that he would one day find the tribe that betrayed his tribe's kindness and slaughter them, a promise he would never be able to keep.
At one point, he took out his frustrations of them barely getting by on his sister for burdening him. If she wasn't here, he would have preferred to die peacefully alone to escape this hard life but Solaria tried her best to help her brother where she could. He apologized almost immediately, knowing that it wasn't her fault this was happening to them. Eventually, about 3 months if he believes, Muge knew that he needed to seek aid from the Ishgardians that were stationed at the Convictory when Solaria fell ill and he had no idea how to cure her. He was prepared to be met with aggression, prepared to plead on his knees for aid, but as he and Solaria were on their way, he noticed an Elezen man and his carriage about to be attacked by a yeti. He jumped in and saved the man, managing to defeat it with ease and was prepared to quickly leave before the Elezen man stopped them.
In return for saving his life, the man would take in Muge and his sister and though they were afraid at first, Muge knew they had no other choice. The man was able to back his words as he escorted the two back to Ishgard, explaining to any curious Ishgardians that they were merely children Au Ra, not heretics. From then on, Muge and Solaria lived a comfortable life, growing up. They both were given an education, Muge became a knight-in-training, eventually becoming a temple knight. Though it was not an easy journey as many other knights would heckle him for his dragon-esque appearance. However, he proves his mettle time and time again, far outmatching those who despised him. At the age of 28, he became a full-fledged Paladin and serves the Holy See alongside the Lord Commander. He is currently 32 years old and has since been promoted as Third Commander of the Temple Knights.
Muge and Solaria are as close as siblings can be, deeply caring for each other and always seeking each other's approval and praise. Solaria will always be grateful for how much he sacraficed for her and he is the only one she could possbily be truly herself with. With her disappearance, Muge worries endlessly about her but due to obligations, he can't leaveo n his own to search for her. Solaria dares not seek her brother out as who she is now, believing that she has failed him.
Epoix Souronoud
A high-born Elezan man that is a well-known merchant and business man. He is generally calm, soft-spoken, sympathetic, and loving, truly a caring man. As a dealer in jewelry, he has established shops within the three city-states' market strips. Though he has people stationed there for him, he enjoys traveling to those stands to maintain relations and network.
Epoix was returning from a venture into the Dravanian Hinterlands to get to Idyllshire in hopes of persuading the merchants there to sell his products, to which he was able to strike a promising deal, when his carrier and guards were attacked by a yeti in the Coerthas Western Highlands. He was prepared to meet Halone when Muge had stepped in and saved him. At first, he intended to only thank the boy and continue his way but when he saw the young Solaria and how frail they were from trying to survive in the Western highlands, he had a change of heart.
As a man who has traveled far and wide, he is very well-versed in the history of Au Ras and how they are not allies to their Dravanian enemies. He swore to protect them and shielded them from the judging eyes of his fellow countrymen as he took them to his home. He had just met them and already, he settled into his role as a protective father quickly. He and his wife had been trying for a child for a long time but were unable to produce any so he viewed Muge and Solaria as a gift blessed unto him by Halone herself. He cared not for their lack of blood ties as he was just a merchant, not one born into a noble house.
He paid for their education, their training, doing his best to take care of them and bring them gifts from his travels. He loves spoiling them and loves being a father.
Solaria began traveling with him when she turned 12, having a fascination for the stories he would tell her and her brother whenever he returned from his travels and wanted to experience it for herself. Orie and Muge were against it at first but Epoix insisted it would good for the girl. Since then, she traveled to nearly all of his ventures with him until she turned 16.
Epoix remains proud of his children's achievements, boasting about them at any given chance and worries for Solaria's wellbeing constantly since she left home.
Orie Souronoud
A high-born elezan woman that is rather loud, proud, and spirited. Orie is also rather short-tempered and a risk taker. Unlike her wanderlusting husband, she remains in Ishgard working as a Machinist and one of Stephinivien's trusted Lead Engineers at the Skysteel Manufactory. She's always tinkering and creating contraptions in their home or piloting the airships between Ishgard and Camp Cloudtop should they need her.
When her husband returned from his venture to Idyllshire, she was surprised to see him accompanied by two children, thin enough for a small gust of wind to blow them over. When he explained to her what had happened and that he wanted to take them in, she was hesitant at first to accept them in her home. Though she and her husband have been trying for children, she wasn't entirely sure if she would be ready to take them on, not sure of the challenges that would arise with raising Au Ra children.
Nonetheless, she agreed with her husband and took them into their home, doing her best to care for them. Much like her husband, she remained patient with them, working with them to break down the wall to get to know them better. However, she wasn't as patient as some days were more trying than others. She and Muge fought constantly, Solaria clung to Epoix rather than her and it made her feel unloved. The relationship between her and the children were strained and though she wanted to give up, she kept trying to be the mother they needed.
She had a major breakthrough with them after sticking up for them against the staring eyes of other Ishgardians. As the years go by, she made sure both Muge and Solaria were well-equipped and prepared for danger should they encounter any. She gave each custom firearms that she built and designed herself, trained them to be a sharpshooter like herself, and any other skills she believes they would need.
At present, Orie still works at the Manufactory and is so proud of her children, boasting about them always. She knows she can see Muge whenever she pleases as he still resides in Ishgard but she worries for Solaria ever since she left but she trusts her daughter to be fully capable of taking care of herself.
O'zhun Tia
O'zhun was Solaria's first friend when she first arrived to Gridania. They were each other's rivals at first and eventually becoming hte closest of friends. Together, they excelled through their training at the Lancer's Guild and became titled Dragoons together. Solaria recognized that he had feelings for her but due to her wish to find Tuva, she rejected him, to which he understood. When he met her family, he felt right at home, even given a custom firearm from Solaria's mother. He made the resolve to stay in Ishgard while Solaria left to return to Gridania. Though it saddened him deeply, he was excited for her and tried to make every effort to come and see her when he had the time, now working closely with the Order of the Knights Dragoons. However, their relaionship became strained as time went on due to distance as well as how busy they've both become.
On one of his rare visits to Gridania, he learned that Solaria had left from Ywain, though wasn't told what had happened or why, and when he informed her family, Muge asked him to look for her in his stead, to which he agrees. Solaria tries to stay as far away as she can from O'zhun, knowing full well that he wouldn't leave her be without a fight.
