Navette

Navette is a tactitian who is not afraid to dirty his hands on the battle field.  He is stoic and intense, and despite his ferocity and seemingly detached exterior at times, he can be shockingly deep and poetic.  He is a quiet, rumbling distant storm.

Navette comes from a family of talented fighters, once celebrated warlords among their village.  He was raised with the expectation to fight hard, and celebrate harder, with victory feasts and basking in the glory of the fight were a frequent occurrence.  However, Navette was always known to shine brightest before the battle was even fought.  Ve (pronounced "Vay") poured most of his focus into the tactics of old, and the thrill of "cat and mouse" type games.  He was a formidable tactician at a young age, and brought much success to his family as early as his teens.  

Unfortunately, when a traitorous family member brought to light a plot to forcefully overthrow the leader of the Juuou clan and take control of that group of isles.  The unsuspecting family was drugged at one of their feasts, captured, and where some were taken for labor or forced marriage, most were put to death in front of the survivors.  The traitorous family member spared and claimed Navette specifically, to be their "trophy" and personal servant, seeing the teenager as little threat.

As he grew and allowed his resentment to fester, he eventually carried out revenge on the family member, poisoning him and leaving him for dead.  With little evidence left behind, he was able to slip away from his life of servitude and rejoin the ranks of the citizens of the Juuou isles.

Despite his relief in escaping, with no idea where the surviving members of his family reside, he felt lost and without direction.  That's when he discovered her, his "goddess" no THE goddess, Zephyrine the maiden goddess of the rain.  He was immediately enthralled not simply by her otherworldy beauty, but the silent command of her presence, the absolute power that emanated from her being.  With that, he found and gave himself new purpose: delivering not only the isles to his goddess, but Kotiin.

He was also surprised when he found himself befriending a particularly fiery rival, Aries.
