Before she was Ivy she was something else, a form of angelic being tasked with a duty. However upon falling in love with a fellow angel, she was stripped of her power and cast down to hell.

As Ivy grew older she realized she was not the same as her peers. In a final act of love, her past lover had made it so she ended up on earth, being reborn instead of punished in hell.

In her previous life she died at age 12 but is unable to remember such. came back as an angel starting at 15 and has continued to age over the years, just at a slightly different rate than her peers.
Met and befriended queenie while queenie was 16, from that point followed her through life and matched her aging to the same rate.
Followed queenie to college where he now attends various classes, but no one exactly knows what her major is.
