Nolla

• She's a very small cougar! Even as a full grown adult.

Nolla is a young investigator on the trail of a crime ring in her city. She is optimistic, bright, and hasn't yet been jaded by the harms in the world. She seeks only to chase her fate of helping people to the best of her abilities. She's brighthearted, a bit naive, and extremely observant. She wants to see the best in others, but sometimes lets her desires to see good blind her to their true nature. She's deceptively inept- her clumsiness and easily distracted outer personality belies her skillfull analysis of situations. She's a brilliant problem solver even if she trips a few times actually getting there.

Her innocent appearance also often lends to people trusting her that might spurn more high profile and experienced investigators- enabling her to find evidence that police or elder detectives wouldn't be able to naturally come across. She has a great ability to win people over and target what they really want in order to help them and benefit them both.

Nolla's father was a famous investigator that even had a series of books written detailing his exploits...unfortunately- to great exaggeration for entertainment. Despite this, she took the novels as absolute truth and law, and aspired from a young age to be like him and become the most famous mystery solver ever- both out of wanting to follow in his footsteps and wanting to help people just like he did. He never had the heart to tell her it was mostly writing fluff and blatant lies- and passed away suddenly before being able to correct her understanding of the material. She was still young at the time, so as she grew up she only pursued this dream more and more religiously.

She went to school for some time, and has multiple degrees to assist with her investigations- along with all the proper certifications of course. While she's mostly treated like a joke by local law enforcement...she still continues to surprise them.
