Meant to be a striker class adaptation of the Blackbird model, the Thunderbird unit is much better suited to aerial combat and feats of incredible endurance thanks to its use of the electrical energy source. By flying through storms, or recharging at special mid-air charged stations, it is able to stay airborne indefinitely, ready for action and use just about anywhere.

Unique to this unit are the multiple 'heads' that are visible in the form of electricity when supercharged. While they seem to 'act' independently, most think it's just delayed or glitchy mirrored images of the biomech itself.

While it lacks the incredible speed of the Blackbird or the experimental electro-magnetic technology of Hijack, the Thunderbird is reliable, well-liked and trusted. It's not the easiest to maintain, as it often requires constant 'goals' or instruction to keep it from wandering or losing focus, since it operates at such a quick thinking capacity. When not given enough direction, they'll often do as they please which can be as benign as burning off energy doing mid-air stunts, or less benign such as harassing and chasing down civilian and non-hostile aircraft and biomechs.
