Intentional Parts of The Design! (Rather than a Quirk of MoonBeam's Artstyle.)
Ears are thin and rounded. They're also wider at the base. Inner ear is this sort of wave shape.
Muzzle is long and thin.
You're welcome to reference these when drawing the character! But they're mostly here as a reminder for me; otherwise I'll forget. Don't bend over backwards to conform to my art style or anything.

Carragreen-Seaweed fish dog thing.
-Living in a really secluded valley away from the kingdom that hasn’t heard from the reigning monarchy in a hot minute; they’re so far out there that this isn’t unusual. They might as well not be part of the kingdom at this point, tbh.
-Bad friend.
-More likely to laugh than help you.
-Mako's best friend.
-Would be Pinecrest's cool aunt if he had any penchant for mischief. But he doesn't, much to her disappointment.
-Cool sass.
-Gives -18 fucks.
-Can breathe underwater and on land.
-There are gills hiding in that fluff.
