A young woman whom by the age of 19 left the safety of her mountain village to find faster work in order to pay off a massive debt to the village's "sole protector" from outside forces, which has caused the resident villagers to become extremely cautious with magic eventually banning its practice for the past 300 years. One day at the age of 6, Ava goes to the village doctor "Sage" in order to "find medicine" that could heal her mothers crops and garden. After being sent away she goes back in the middle of the night and borrows a potion from the woman and pours it onto the soil eventually finding the plants to "miraculously come back to life". This starts her apprenticeship with Sage who's family has been teaching their children magic in secret for generations seeing as Sage herself lost her husband and only child to a "mysterious illness". For the next 11 years Ava will undergo vigorous training going from learning to control her nature magic in secret to brewing up remedies and potions to treat the villagers. Seeing that her parent's have basically gone broke, Ava decides to leave the village (something no one has done in the last 300 years) to find better work to provide for her family as her father's carpentry business has been reduced to nothing which causes him to join the "Knight's Watch" as a new job under the leadership of Vanguard their protector. Not really sure what the outside world is like, Ava takes the next chance to leave and begin her journey in a new and unfamiliar world. After a little more than a year of numerous jobs and finally settling as the head gardener for a wealthy family, Ava decides to leave once again to find "something that is missing" and so happens to stumble upon Fairy Tail after hearing that guild wizards get to travel as well as make a good number of money. For the next few years, Ava will have to slowly open herself to the guild, over come her own struggles with who she is expected to be and who she wants to be. She will have to put aside her differences if she wants to be able to pay back what her family owes on time not knowing that their is actually a time limit to when the money needs to be paid. And with that time ticking away with every second that she is wasting, her families lives are closer to being "erased" for the greater good of the people of Havendell; the isolated village in the mountains with a rather mysterious and dark history. Unknown to her; Ava will over come many obstacles with learning to putting her trust for others if she would ever wants to continue with her life as a member of the Fairy Tail guild where many more adventures, struggles and challenges await.
Personality
At first Ava comes off as uninterested, she keeps to herself and puts an effort in not socializing with others. This is due to her being very uneasy in a new environment especially one so rough around the edges like Fairy Tail, the only reason she even joined is she figured with all the commotion the guild gets into on a daily basis they wouldn't pay much attention to her and in turn won't ask her questions on where she's from or what's her story. She is rather distant, quiet and sometimes a bit rude, but she was also extremely prideful so if anyone wanted to help her out she shut them down pretty quickly as she is used to doing things herself seeing that she is the oldest of 6 kids and was already working as the apprentice of her village's resident Healer "Sage" since she was about 6-7. She feels things would get done quicker (and safer) if she just worked alone, though she would take a job or two with someone if the Master told her to but she'd want it to get done in a quick manner and not much talking. This is shown in the first few jobs she was appointed to take with Loke in order to get her accustomed to the guild mage life which only caused her to view him as unreliable and In reality despite her outside appearance/attitude Ava is rather curious about the world outside her village's gates. Skills
Magic: Nature Manipulation
Type: Caster Information: It is a Magic which allows Ava to create and/or control rapid-growing plants in battle through seeds or any plants surrounding her. These plants are grown with various properties unlike regular ones. Ava specializes in vine like plants and special flowers used to disarm/restrain the enemy. Although she was taught spells that can kill a person she refuses to do so; that doesn't mean she might end up using it as a last resort. Most of the plants she uses do come from seeds if there are little to none in the surrounding area, each single seed can summon multiple plants within a matter of seconds. Some work best if there are on top of soil than others. ((It is noted that controlling nature can be extremely dangerous for the wizard if not focused on what they are doing, things can turn for the worst if not careful after all, Mother nature is a cruel and unforgiving mistress.))Strengths
