【 Name 】 Mushimura Kurosawa
【 Age 】 16
【 Gender 】 Female
【 Ethnicity 】 Japanese
【Alignment】 UA Student, Miyashita Family
【 Height 】 5'6/171 cm
【 Quirk 】 Viper

Mushi lives with her grandmother (father's mother) and her uncle (father's younger brother), while her aunt (father's younger sister, who works as a pro hero in Canada) visits whenever she can. Mushi has a troubling family situation, which she has been aware of since the age of six. Mushi's father was from a reputable family, who worked as heroes for their living. He worked under his father on missions, and through hero work he met Mushi's mother. Mushi's mother was part of an imfamous villain family, all of whom had possessed "villainous" quirks for generations- before crime, they had constantly been mocked and criticized for them, until they couldn't take it anymore and became villains. They were never completely apprehended, even if one member of their family was taken into custody, they'd be broken out and freed within days (should they not have broken out on their own and freed themselves). Mushi's father fought her mother at first, but soon convinced her to leave a life of villainy. They fell in love with ech other, and had Mushi together. They were happy together, until when Mushi was about six. Around the time her quirk had begun to manifest, Mushi's mother's family had found her and demanded that she return to a life of crime... even going so far as to threaten harm to Mushi. Despite whole-hearted begging from Mushi's father's family, Mushi's mother gave in and returned, taking her husband with her and joining her villainous family once more. Mushi's granfather (father's father) couldn't take the shock of losing his oldest son to villainy, and died a week later of a heart attack.

Unfortunately, Mushi's troubles did not end there. She had hopes that people in school wouldn't know of her family, but someone always found out and told everyone. She was constantly made fun of in school, mocked as a villain, as evil, and as subhuman. She went home crying almost everyday in elementary school, and couldn't wait for when she graduated to junior high. the day came, and the period of peace lasted significantly longer. People didn't know, and everything was fine, until a group of villains made a huge attack and robbery- it was Mushi's family. News spread through the school like wildfire to those who didn't know, coming from the mouths of those who'd seen it on the news. The rest of junior high was hell for her, just like it had been in elementary school. But ever since the first day someone had mocked her for her family, Mushi's grandmother and uncle had helped her through it. Her uncle, who worked at a video game company, let her help out and "beta test" his projects if she wanted to, along with contributing ideas for games, characters, stories, or whatever (should she have any). Her grandmother helped her find a new hobby: origami. She told Mushi to carry some paper with her wherever she went, and if she felt stressed, scared, or angry, to pull out a piece and make something. Mushi practiced on the simple shapes at first, but soon learned how to make all kinds of more complicated pieces. It became her favorite thing to do, in school or out of it, until she could get to a fresh start and head towards her goal: to become one of the best and strongest heroes out there.

She went looking for that fresh start at UA, where she knew no one from her junior high or elementary school would bring up her shameful family status and history, and where she could work to be a hero. She applied for the hero class and gave the test her all- training and studying excessively for both the practical and written aspects of the entrance exam. All her hard work eventually paid off, and when the letter arrived to confirm her acceptance, it was the happiest she had been in years.

Quirk: "Viper"

Mushi's quirk encompasses many snake/viper-like qualities: agility, flexibility, speed, a very good sense of smell, a venomous bite (and the ability to spit venom- it can act as a very strong acid on inorganic things), along with the ability to unhinge her jaw (She doesn't use the last one very much). She received this quirk from her grandfather, who has the same one. She didn't receive either of her parents' quirks. Her physical appearance, due to her quirk, includes long pointed ears, fangs (from which she can spit venom, as well as bite), light green eyes with snake-like pupils, a flat nose, and red scales spread over various areas of her body.

Unfortunately, Mushi takes on all the qualities of a viper, good and bad. She becomes extremely sluggish and tired in cold weather, so much sometimes that she will "hibernate"... aka fall asleep in class, or wherever she's standing. However, she does become very energetic in heat and warm, plentiful sunlight. Her quirk also affects her physical appearance: she has long, pointed ears, a flat nose, fangs (from which she can spit venom, and also inject it when biting someone/something), large light green eyes with snake-like pupils, and red scales that cover various areas of her body.

Trivia

  • Mushi's favorite genre of movies, literature, and video games is horror! She loves testing out horror games for her uncle's company, as well as buying and playing them normally.
  • Mushi loves pulling pranks- all harmless fun, she assures people.
  • Mushi's favorite season is summer, both because school is out and because of the warm weather and hotter temperatures- she's much more energetic this time of year because of that!
  • Because Mushi is more or less half reptilian, she doesn't experience monthly cycles like most other girls. She's still very much able to have children, just without the pain beforehand.
