Boudica is rather skittish and straight-laced. They got blown up in a creeper incident a while ago with a strange Coal Ore named Kinley. When informed that the other was missing a lot of their body, Boudica offered to give up some of their own in order to patch the other up. As it turns out, Kinley separately offered the same for them. They've been close friends ever since.
