Outgoing Story

When she was young, she and her mountain goat herd were living on the mountain when a sudden, unexpected avalanche came (possibly from the gods). Kharis had wandered off from the group out of childhood naughtiness and had missed the epicenter, but by the time she crawled out and regained her strength, she found herself alone. Her herd was either buried alive or had already left the mountain.

Herodion found her not long after, and he raised her as his own. She somehow managed to have a happy childhood despite her massive loss.

Ongoing Story

Now that she has grown, she has caught the attention of a mule from within the forest. He now regularly bothers her despite frequent rejections, and she is hesitant to admit that she is growing fond of him (especially now that Herodion is dead set on hating him).
