Worldhoppers are a semi-omnipotent species that serve as an avatar for Creators to explore and interact with worlds outside of their own. They obtain the power to manifest any object into being (so long as they are able to draw it) as well as an increased influence over inhabitants of the world they are visiting. Denizens will likely be able to sense a strong magic within them, but will not be able to identify the source. Worldhoppers may only manifest objects that abide by the laws of the world they are in.

Worldhoppers have no permanent physical form, as they must first shapeshift into one of the existing races/species of a world before entering it. They often have preferred traits that accompany their forms from world to world that may also make it easier to identify them, such as hair style, eye color, clothing, ect. Worldhoppers will gain the ability of the race/species they choose upon arrival, though there is no guarantee that they will immediately be able to use their newfound skills/powers immediately and will likely require training.

They are are generally harmless beings that only wish to explore the new lands they discover or improve the quality of life for certain individuals they feel personally attached to. The largest rule is that one cannot alter the universe's fate in any significant way; if an attempt is made, the worldhopper may be permanently ejected from the world or punished at the discretion of the world's Creator.

Worldhopping can be dangerous, however, as wordhoppers are not immortal. If killed within a world, they will have to spend a large amount of time outside before fully healing. Each worldhopper has a finite number of lives, though they will rarely ever share their life count with those inside a world or even others of their kind. Worldhoppers cannot bear children or impregnate denizens of the worlds they visit. If visiting a world for an extended period of time (such as periods of multiple years), a worldhopper's powers will gradually degenerate until they become one of the members of that reality, losing their otherworldly magic entirely and never being able to regain it again. To prevent this from occurring, worldhoppers must occasionally 'check in' with the outside. reality to recuperate and recharge their powers.
